Aramis Knight (born on October 3, 1999) is an American actor.
Life and Career
Aramis Knight was born in Los Angeles, California on October 3, 1999. His ethnic background is German, Eastern Indian and Pakistani. At the very young age of 4 Aramis took a liking to Elvis Presley and would always insist on wearing his leather jacket no matter the weather in Southern California. He has visited Graceland twice, and if asked, to this day, he will say he wants to go to Graceland for vacation.
At age 5 he attended an actor’s workshop with famed acting coach Kris Kyer in Burbank California and within a few months he had recurring roles in two TV shows: Boston Legal and Invasion, both for ABC. Shortly after his TV debut, he landed his first feature filmRendition, directed by Gavin Hood. Six months later Aramis was fortunate enough to work opposite Harrison Ford in a movie called Crossing Over. Aramis has guest starred and appeared on multiple television series, including The Middle, Psych, NCIS, Lost, andDexter. He has also done multiple voice acting roles in animated films such as Shrek Forever After and Happy Feet 2.
In 2012 Aramis received the chance of a lifetime when he was cast as the the role of "Bean" in the 2012 feature film Ender’s Game, which was also directed by Gavin Hood.
Aramis was recently cast in the upcoming AMC martial arts series Into the Badlands,, starring opposite Daniel Wu, Madeleine Mantock, and Ally Ionnides. While his first passion is acting, Aramis also has a close second, which is basketball.
